Site Based Support Team

Site Based Support Team- CEC’s Site Based Support Team meets each week. The Site Based Support Team uses a collaborative model to develop and implement programs for individual students. Classroom teachers, parents, Student Services, the Learning Center, and administration may refer students to the Site Based Support Team. Students can also request a referral by speaking to their teacher, Learning Centre program support teacher or guidance counsellor. Members of the Site Based Support Team include a vice-principal, subject and program support teachers, a member of Student Services, the school psychologist, and other CCRSB professionals as required. When a student is referred, the Site Based Support Team will review the student’s learning profile, gather historical information and information from current teachers. Recommendations will be made to support student success. Parents/Guardians can refer by calling Student Services (896-5712) and speaking to a guidance counsellor.
